Ready for the 24 Heures du Mans!
Champion HERT powered by MRP #38 is ready for action after a successful pre-test at Le Mans. The team clocked a fastest lap of 1:37.000, securing the 2nd quickest time in the EWC Superstock category over the two-day session. This solid pace puts the team in a strong position to fight for the class victory at round one of FIM Emdunace World Championhip at Le Mans.
Throughout the winter and into the spring, the crew has worked tirelessly to refine the motorcycle’s endurance setup, ensuring it is ready for the grueling 24-hour marathon.
The team extends its sincere gratitude to all our sponsors. This campaign in the FIM Endurance World Championship would not be possible without the support of: Champion Lubes, BMW Motorrad Motosport, Zalazone, Horeca van Zon, Alpha Racing, Ilmberger Carbon and MRP Racing.

Rider Reactions
Following the Le Mans pre-test, our riders shared their thoughts on the team’s progress and the upcoming season opener:
Bálint Kovács:
Overall, I had a great time with the team. I already knew the guys from IDM and Le Castellet, so it was mainly about learning how to work together as a unit since some of the riders hadn’t met before. The team did a great work with this.
From first session to the last session we made a good step. The bike is fast, but it’s also an easy bike ride, one of the most important factors in Endurance racing. Happy with the results, we were quite fast even if we didn’t even try to set a really fast time, as we were focused on developing our race pace. Happy and looking forward to the race!
Loris Cresson:
The test went well, the main target was to focus on each other, as it was the first time we worked together for most of us. We spent time getting to know each other and the bike, focusing primarily on race distances and long runs with a full fuel tank. Happy with how the test went, good potential but I think we still have a big margin for improvement. I’m eager to start the week of the race. We can do a good race, we have a good team.
Jan Bühn:
The first test of the season is complete, and it was great to be back with the team after nearly a year. Everyone did a fantastic job. We focused heavily on our race pace and were already quick. We have a clear idea of where we can still improve, so we feel fully prepared for the race week.
Máté Számádó:
We’ve wrapped up a very productive two days at the Le Mans circuit. Our priority was getting used to the bike and working as a team. After that, we tried to focus on how the bike behaves and find the basic settings. We were able to show right away that we are a force to be reckoned with in the fight for the victory.
